John Redd, an FDNY EMT who gave first-aid instruction to panicked 911 callers waiting for an ambulance has died of complications from coronavirus, the FDNY said Tuesday. He was 63. Retired NYPD Sgt. Sean Cameron, who was fighting the city to get disability pension for his 9/11-related cancer, lost his battle with the disease earlier this month, his family told the Daily News. Steve Brickman of Jamesport, a retired FDNY firefighter who spent nearly two weeks at ground zero following the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, died Sunday of illness attributed to 9/11, according to the FDNY.
