Conceived in the days following the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks, the September 11th National Memorial Trail has been in the works for nearly 18 years. Over that time, the 1,300-mile, multistate trail has come together through a mixture of roadways, existing trails, and new trails that link the sites of the National September 11 Memorial & Museum in New York, the Pentagon Memorial in Arlington, Va., and the Flight 93 National Memorial near Shanksville, Pa.
Bergen New Bridge Medical Center Commemorates 9/11 with a Remembrance Ceremony
Bergen New Bridge Medical Center is commemorating the anniversary of September 11, 2001 with a remembrance ceremony to honor those who lost their lives during the terrorist attacks eighteen years ago. The ceremony will be held on September 11 at 1 p.m. at the Medical Center’s September 11th Memorial site, which was funded by Medical Center employees, supporters, and the hospital’s foundation in 2004.
