  • Office of Military Commissions December Hearings Update
    Hearings in the U.S. v. KSM et al (2) began on Monday, 16 December 2013 as scheduled. On four occasions last week, Mr. Bin al Shibh became disruptive in the courtroom. After repeated admonitions from the Military Judge to stop disrupting the proceedings, Judge Pohl had Mr. Bin al Shibh removed from the courtroom. On 18 December 2013, the Defense filed a motion, AE 152F, alleging that Mr. Binalshibh is being exposed to noises and vibrations in his cell that interfere with his ability to concentrate or sleep.   • Remembering Our Friend and Colleague, Darlene Johnson
    I am writing with the sad news that our longtime friend and former co-worker, Darlene Johnson, has passed away after a courageous battle with ovarian cancer. First and foremost, Darlene was a personal friend who quietly supported our family through a challenging time after 9/11. We will always be grateful!   • Help Victims of Typhoon Haiyan
    Typhoon Haiyan, one of the strongest recorded storms in history, devastated entire towns in the island nation, including the cities of Basey and Tacloban, where thousands are missing and officials say the death toll could reach 10,000. According to the UN, more than 600,000 displaced residents across the country are in desperate need of food, water, and medicine.   • George Martin Returns To The Giants
    George Martin returned to Giant Stadium for the game against the Philadelphia Eagles on October 6th. This time he wasn’t suiting up for the Giants; he was expressing his support for the 9/11 Responders. In 2008, Martin walked more than 3,200 miles across the United States to benefit “thousands of the true heroes of 9/11,” seriously ill rescue and recovery workers.
